Specialists in commercial cleaning and sanitising services, Olinga Services will support Sydney Trains to launch the ‘In Track Sanitisation Program’. In partnership with Transport for NSW, Olinga Services will sanitise all trains across the Sydney rail network twice daily using a workforce of 250 cleaners.
“We’re pleased to see our ongoing partnership with the NSW State Government extend to train services managed by Transport for NSW,” says Director of Olinga Services, Badi Mahabat.
Olinga Services has an existing five-year working relationship with the NSW State Government to provide the community with a safe and hygienic public transport experience. This commitment to safety is especially important during these challenging times and will aid in reducing the spread of COVID-19. With restrictions beginning to ease in New South Wales, this thorough sanitising service will allow Sydney commuters to travel safely.
Olinga Services has engaged a workforce of 250 new employees that include workers who are ineligible for the Jobkeeper allowance due to their employment status.
“Olinga’s strong community focus extends beyond providing its clients with high quality cleaning and sanitising services. As a socially conscious organisation, we have expanded our workforce to accommodate and employ members of the community that may not have been eligible for the Jobkeeper allowance during the COVID-19 pandemic,” says Mahabat.
The partnership will allow Olinga Services to grow its expert team and continue to leverage their experience and innovative technology to ensure success.
“We’re looking forward to ensuring all major touch-points on trains are sanitised on a regular, ongoing basis, to support and give peace of mind to commuters and the general public from now and into the future,” says Mahabat.
